Between July 29 and August 23, the Chandler Education Foundation (CEF) received a remarkable 211 applications from teachers and staff across the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD), all seeking support to bring innovative resources and experiences into their classrooms. This represents a 47% increase from the previous year, highlighting not only the rising costs of high-quality educational materials but also the unwavering commitment of our educators to create meaningful, impactful learning opportunities for their students.
These grants are made possible entirely through the generosity of our community, who donate to the annual Cash for Classrooms fundraiser. Thanks to your continued support, CEF awarded an unprecedented $180,000 in grants, benefitting students across 44 CUSD schools and sites!
