KBC Foundation Scholarship - In-State Arizona University

The KBC Foundation is proud to offer a one-time scholarship of $3,000 each to three (3) Perry High graduating students who plan to attend an in-state Arizona university.
This scholarship aims to support students as they continue their higher education at an accredited university within the state of Arizona.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for The KBC Foundation In-State Arizona University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Current student at Perry High School, graduating in May.
- Plan to attend an accredited in-state university (e.g., Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, or any other accredited public or private university within Arizona) starting in the summer or fall following their high school graduation.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, as of the application deadline.
- Letter of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, or mentor who can speak to your academic abilities, character, and personal growth during your time in high school. The letter should highlight why you are a strong candidate for this scholarship.
- Statement of personal growth highlighting significant personal growth throughout their high school years, showcasing how they have matured, overcome challenges, and developed both academically and personally.
- Statement of educational and career goals explaining the skills and knowledge they hope to gain by attending an in-state Arizona university and how this education will support their long-term career goals.
Selection:
The scholarship selection committee will review all applications based on the following factors:
- Academic performance and GPA (minimum of 2.75 cumulative GPA required)
- Personal growth demonstrated in the Personal Growth Statement
- Clarity and thoughtfulness of the Educational and Career Goals Statement
- Strength of the Letter of Recommendation
- Commitment to attending an accredited in-state Arizona university
For the financial award to be disbursed, the student must provide proof of enrollment at an accredited Arizona university. If proof of enrollment is not provided, the scholarship will be forfeited, and the funds may be awarded to another eligible candidate.
