Lifelong Learning Scholarships For CUSD Staff
As part of our commitment to fueling access, innovation, and excellence within the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD), the Chandler Education Foundation (CEF) supports advanced training and certification for our dedicated educators through Lifelong Learning Scholarships.
Made possible through the generous support of our partner, the Subaru Superstore of Chandler, CUSD staff can submit applications for scholarships throughout the year. The Lifelong Learning Committee will evaluate and fund award winners between July and April of each academic year, pending availability of funds.
Applicants must have been employed by CUSD at least three (3) years prior to submitting an application and must remain an employee for at least one (1) year following funding.
Financial awards of up to $2,500 per year are available for up to two years. Recipients may receive a maximum of $5,000 through this program.
Questions or concerns, please contact us by email or by calling (480) 224-3030.
Subaru Shares the Love
Thank you to Lisa Cvijanovich and Subaru Superstore of Chandler for making Chandler Education Foundation part of the Share the Love campaign! In 2023-2024, Subaru and Subaru Superstore of Chandler contributed $35,000 to CEF from new Subaru purchases and lease agreements made during the campaign.
These funds provide valuable financial support for CUSD teachers to receive specialized training and certifications - positively impacting their careers and the quality of education our students receive. Visit our Share the Love page for more details on this campaign.
Thank you to all the new Subaru owners who chose the Chandler Education Foundation as your charity of choice!
Equity in Education Scholarship
Thanks to a generous grant from Intel, scholarships are available to increase the number of educators from underrepresented groups, including Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latinx, veterans, and people with disabilities.
Scholarships of up to $1,000 are available for CUSD staff who want to obtain teaching credentials, including post-baccalaureate certificates. Priority is given to those pursuing credentials to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics.
CUSD team members are encouraged to nominate colleagues who are interested in becoming a teacher by emailing the Chandler Education Foundation. Please include the candidate's full name and CUSD site. Once received, the candidate will receive a link to apply online.
Applications can be submitted at any time before August 2, 2024.
